We thrive on innovation and the ability to adapt, and we're looking for a Senior PMO Analyst who can provide the leadership and vision needed to shape the future of our PMO function, maximise the value of the PMO and turn it into a work class function, which in turn will help to deliver great outcomes for our clients.As Lead PMO, you work across the Change team to provide centralised and dedicated portfolio support services for medium & large Business Change initiatives.Your role is a key role in portfolio management; quality management & assurance; stakeholder management; risk management; and portfolio governance. You will streamline and standardise existing processes but also be open to experimenting with new practices, whilst preserving the integrity of current systems We provide remote working options so are open to applications from across the UK. However, there will be an expectation to attend the Cardiff office when required. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Working closely with client managers in Target to agree a consistent approach to client management which takes account of the needs of the clientWorking closely with Project Managers to ensure that all projects have been effectively scoped, planned, costed and delivery milestones agreed with each departmentUtilising standardised Project Controls for the monitoring and control of projects, highlighting impacts and potential risks on defined time, cost and quality objectivesEnsuring accurate records are maintained and facilitating the timely provision of data by way of status reporting, information packs & communication updatesEstablishing robust controls and frameworks for raids, as well as supporting the establishment of the change framework and accompanying toolkit & templates for all project managers to useProviding and maintaining a capacity planning and resource tracking service across the ProgrammeGoverning and assuring all project and any bid work in line with Target's Project Management and Quality Management Frameworks, ensuring all defined controls are adhered to and any deviations are change managed effectivelyProviding essential portfolio progress and status reporting highlighting risks and issues for escalation to the internal sponsors and programme boardCoordinating project closures, ensuring lessons learnt and best practices are absorbed and integrated into business and project processesEnsuring that dependencies across the portfolio are identified, logged and monitoredWorking with the Finance Partner and the Project Managers to ensure effective governance around control of costs, benefit realisation and financial reporting across all projectsSupporting the Head of PMO to manage the bid process to ensure that all aspects of Project Management and PMO effort are estimated, associated risks are identified, and an achievable implementation timeline is establishedAssisting in maintaining systems for recording, monitoring, forecasting, budgeting and reporting of all project expenditure.
