Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement long-term and campaign-specific PR & GR strategies, aligned with corporate goals (e.g., brand awareness, product launches, market expansion) and industry trends. 2. Government Relations Leadership: Build, manage, and deepen strategic relationships with European stakeholders, including: EU institutions, Government, Organizations, Industry associations, etc.3. Build, manage, and nurture high-value media relationships (including journalists, editors, industry KOLs, and international media outlets) to secure impactful coverage (features, interviews, thought leadership pieces). 4. Lead the creation of high-quality PR/GR content, such as policy briefs, press releases, executive speeches, whitepapers, case studies, and stakeholder engagement materials—ensuring consistency with brand tone, messaging, and European regulatory/policy contexts.5. Establish and optimize the brand’s crisis communication framework: monitor public sentiment (via tools like Meltwater/Cision) and European policy developments, identify potential risks (e.g., regulatory changes, negative press), and lead rapid response to critical issues to mitigate reputational damage.6. Oversee end-to-end execution of PR/GR events (e.g., policy roundtables, press conferences, industry summits, government-led collaboration workshops), including budget management, vendor coordination, stakeholder invitation, and post-event performance analysis.7. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, legal, and customer success teams to ensure PR/GR initiatives support broader business priorities (e.g., aligning product launch PR/GR with sales enablement). 8. Measure and report on PR/GR performance using key metrics (e.g., media reach, sentiment analysis, website traffic from PR campaigns) and optimize strategies based on data insights. Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations, Communications,Political Science, Public Policy, Marketing, or a related field.2. Minimum 10 years of progressive PR/GR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/expert-level role—including proven experience engaging with European government institutions, multilateral organizations, chambers of commerce, and industry associations.3. Deep understanding of European policy and regulatory landscapes: familiarity with EU decision-making processes, national government workflows across key European markets, and industry-specific EU regulations (e.g., GDPR for tech, FSSC for food, MDR for medical devices). 4. Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated PR/GR strategies that drive tangible results (e.g., increased media coverage, improved brand sentiment, secured government/collaborative projects, influenced policy alignment in Europe). 5. Deep expertise in stakeholder engagement: demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships with European government officials, multilateral organization representatives, and industry association leaders—and translate these relationships into business value. 6. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to evolving European policy/market dynamics.
