Location: Mexico CityAvailability: Frequent international travelVisa: Valid U.S. visa requiredLanguages: Fluent English (mandatory)Position ObjectiveTo ensure full financial control, transparency, and efficiency across all private assets and global operations of a UHNW family, including residences, yachts, aircraft, vehicles, art collections, and private companies.The Controller will be responsible for financial planning, expense modeling, audits, system implementation, and global cash-flow management. This role requires a discreet, analytical, and trustworthy professional with proven experience in Family Offices or UHNW multi-asset environments.Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Financial Oversight: Supervise, consolidate, and analyze all financial statements and operations across international entities, assets, and holdings.Financial Forecasting & Modeling: Develop annual expense projections, budgets, and cash-flow models, including operating and maintenance costs for all private assets (homes, yachts, aircraft, vehicles, and art).Expense Control & Tracking: Implement and maintain a comprehensive expense control system across all divisions (residences, marine, aviation, staff, travel, etc.), ensuring transparency and accountability.Financial Software Implementation: Select, implement, and oversee financial management platforms or ERP systems for global expense tracking and reporting.Petty Cash & Banking Supervision: Manage petty cash, bank accounts, transfers, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Audits & Operational Review: Conduct periodic internal audits to assess compliance, efficiency, and financial integrity across all family operations and locations.Procurement & Contract Oversight: Review and approve purchases, vendor agreements, and service contracts, maintaining cost efficiency and accountability.Process & Policy Development: Design and implement standardized financial procedures and internal controls across all operating jurisdictions.Financial Project Management: Create, monitor, and analyze financial projects and investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic and fiscal goals.Reporting & Executive Communication: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the family and their representatives, ensuring clarity, precision, and confidentiality.Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).Experience: Minimum 5 years in controllership, audit, or financial management within Family Offices or UHNW private environments.Languages: Advanced/native English required; Spanish fluency preferred.Technical Skills: Financial modeling, international consolidation, auditing, expense control, budgeting, and tax awareness.Systems: Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent financial software; experience implementing ERP systems.Core Competencies: Integrity, confidentiality, strategic thinking, analytical mindset, leadership, attention to detail, and executive communication.Availability: Must be available for frequent international travel (U.S., Europe, Caribbean, Mexico).Visa: Valid U.S. visa required.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy and timeliness of global financial reports.Budget compliance and expense optimization per division.Successful implementation of financial systems and controls.Cost reduction and resource efficiency across all assets.Full compliance in internal and external audits.Compensation & ConditionsCompetitive executive-level salary aligned with UHNW Family Office standards.Performance bonuses for key milestones and financial efficiency.Frequent international travel and close coordination with the central Family Office.Confidential, stable, and long-term professional environment.
