We have offshore team-building experience and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.About This Role:As the Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency through precise reporting, streamlined processes, and collaboration across departments. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance profitability analysis, automate workflows, and improve the speed and reliability of month-end close processes.This role combines strategic insight with hands-on accounting expertise, requiring a detail-oriented professional who can translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.Key Responsibilities:Financial Tracking & ReportingOversee class tracking and contribution margin reporting by channel.Implement class-tracking systems for detailed profitability analysis.Prepare monthly financial reports and statements with high accuracy.Reconciliation & ComplianceReconcile revenue and expense accounts regularly.Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.Maintain GAAP-compliant and audit-ready financial records.Process OptimizationAutomate accounting workflows to improve efficiency.Complete at least two automation or process improvement initiatives within the first 90 days.Audit and refine Fulfil.io bank rules and mapping for accuracy.Variance & Profitability AnalysisConduct monthly variance analysis between actual and budgeted results.Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.Support cost allocation and margin optimization decisions.Team Training & CollaborationTrain team members on class assignments and financial best practices.Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams on financial alignment.Maintain accurate communication and updates within Asana.Asana ManagementMaintain an organized Asana workspace, ensuring no more than 25% of tasks are overdue in any 30 days.Update comments and deadlines promptly when adjustments occur.Software/Platforms/Tools:Fulfil ERP (Financial Management)QuickBooks Online / NetSuiteGoogle Sheets / Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)Asana (Project Management)Slack, Zoom, Email (Communication)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods.Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1/C2 level).Strong understanding of GAAP and audit compliance.Proven experience in class tracking, reconciliations, and process automation.Proficiency in Fulfil.io ERP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.Highly organized, analytical, and proactive in problem-solvingDemonstrated ability to train others and collaborate across departments.Shift Schedule:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time (US PST)
