Private Equity VP

Develop and build a portfolio of private investments in EMEA to drive commercial returns, support other Teams as and when needed; and engage in stakeholder activities across the region. To support team in divestment related work tracks and activities Development of investment strategya. To assist in the development of investment strategies and approach for private investments in target geographiesb. To help plan and carry out sector-based and theme-based coverage activities across EMEA target markets for deal sourcing and relationship developments External Engagementa. Participate in coverage trips to build and maintain meaningful network of relationships with business partners, advisors and intermediaries across marketsb. To monitor market and industry developments for deal sourcing opportunitiesc. To support team in maintaining CRM database of contacts and coverage notes Other Responsibilitiesa. To provide support in administrative work tracks of the officeb. To collaborate with other relevant Investment sector and geography teams on private investment deals, and facilitate sharing of research or insights with the wider Investments division Profile· Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in relevant disciplines from a reputable university. Major plus would be : (i) degree from a foreign top-tier university, and (ii) other relevant qualifications such as CFA certificate.· Minimum of 7 years' experience in a relevant functional discipline (Direct PE investments, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets or Transaction Services) gained within Institutional Investment firms, Investment Banks, PE Funds.· Knowledge of direct private equity transactions, investment analyses and structuring deals (including knowledge on legal concepts applicable to private equity settings) is highly preferred.· Excellent financial modeling, analytical and presentation skills.· Strong team leader with high initiative and excellent interpersonal skill, including the ability to lead and operate in high-performing team and excellent stakeholder management skills to communicate with credibility at a senior level.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders Job OfferOpportunities to work on high-profile investment projects in the financial services industry.A collaborative and professional work environment in Istanbul.Potential for career advancement and professional growth.
