By equipping travel advisors with in-depth destination training and unparalleled resources, we empower them to succeed at every stage of their career.Join our team and be part of a collaborative environment that values learning and shares a passion for designing memorable holidays!We are looking to hire a Private Groups Sales Consultant who is primarily responsible for driving quality sales volume while creating and growing relationships with the Travel Advisor community.Additionally, during the first six months of employment, you will also perform duties of a Group Sales Coordinator, which include qualifying customers, understanding their needs and assigning qualified leads and quotations for travel arrangements. This dual focus will provide a solid foundation in both sales strategy and operational execution, setting the stage for long-term success in the role.This role is working a flexible hybrid pattern, 40 hours a week, in our Travelopia head office in Escazú.What we’ll offer:Competitive Compensation with a monthly incentive scheme (Base $25k - $30k and On Target Earnings of $35k to $40k USD). 14 vacation days per year + Birthday offEmployee Group Travel BenefitsHybrid work environmentWhat you’ll do:Handle group inquiries (15+ travellers) via phone, email, and other channels.Qualify and assign leads, conduct follow-ups, and capture details needed for accurate group quotes.Create and manage group quotation shells and itineraries using the reservation system.Design customized European travel packages, including air, hotel, sightseeing, and ground arrangements.Collaborate with Group Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless client service and documentation.Maintain strong relationships with travel partners and clients to encourage repeat and referral business.Provide tiered pricing options based on group size and needs.Manage personal sales pipeline to achieve or exceed monthly goals.Stay current on all product offerings and educate Travel Agent Partners about Europe Express services.What you’ll bring:Strong knowledge of European destinations and travel industry experience preferred.Proven success meeting or exceeding inside sales goals in a consultative or B2B sales environment.Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.Experience in group travel sales, tour operations, or as a travel advisor is beneficialProficiency with Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and web-based systems; call centre experience a plus.Familiarity with airline reservation GDS systems (Amadeus preferred).Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.We believe people perform best when they can be their true selves, and diverse teams drive better results.
