James Adams is looking for a Process improvement Analyst to join our client, a leading global professional services business. This role sits within the Continuous Improvement team and focuses on supporting HR transformation and optimisation. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in HR operations, process improvement, automation, and digital innovation.Location: Central Manchester 2 days pw onsite Length: 6-9 MonthsSalary: £40,000Role OverviewAs a HR Process Analyst, you will work closely with HR teams to identify inefficiencies, support change initiatives and help deliver a best-in-class employee experience. You will apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise HR processes, enhance service delivery, and support both global and local HR transformation projects.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in HR process analysis, problem-solving, digital transformation, and process documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and service excellenceAssist in the local adaptation and rollout of global HR process changes, ensuring alignment with local requirementsCreate and maintain clear, user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures and process documentationConduct root cause analysis on process issues, recommending practical solutions or escalating where appropriateCollaborate with HR stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for improvement initiativesExplore and support automation and AI opportunities to streamline HR processesAnalyse data to assess the impact of process changes and prepare regular reports on outcomesLead the HR Innovation Squad by managing issue resolution, tracking bugs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to completionContribute to change management and communication efforts related to HR process changesWork closely with global and local HR teams to ensure consistency in service deliveryEngage in ongoing learning to build expertise in HR technologies, process optimisation, and digital toolsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong process mapping skills, ideally using Visio, with the ability to identify value and wasteAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and investigative skillsKeen interest in HR service delivery, automation, and AIExcellent written and verbal communication skills for process documentation and stakeholder engagementExperience analysing change impacts and supporting change initiativesConfidence working independently and collaboratively across teams and culturesProactive, self-motivated, and detail orientedUnderstanding of HR service delivery is essential; prior experience is advantageous but not requiredWillingness to learn and adopt new technologies and digital toolsQualifications & ExperienceDemonstrable experience or qualifications in Continuous Improvement or Business Transformation (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma – Green Belt or Black Belt)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in HR, Business, or a related fieldExperience in HR or customer service is beneficialProficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite; familiarity with Excel, Visio, Power Automate, UiPath, or Workday is a plus
