The objective is for ADSS to become a dynamic and innovative, trusted market leader as measured by feedback from clients, talent, shareholders and competitors.As a Procurement Assistant at ADSS, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement team with sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services essential to our operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin their career in procurement, while making a valuable contribution to the success of a leading financial services company.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Assist in the procurement process by researching suppliers, obtaining quotes, and comparing prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.Collaborate with various departments to determine their procurement needs and specifications.Maintain accurate records of supplier information, contracts, and pricing agreements.Track and monitor the delivery of purchased items and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays.Assist in negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including data entry, filing, and document management.Follow and enforce procurement policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements.Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the procurement department.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the role, managing and escalating issues to senior management as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.Experience:Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and grow within the procurement profession.Basic knowledge of procurement processes and principles is a plus.Skills:Strong communication and negotiation skills with commercial insight.Strong procurement system knowledge (e.g., Oracle).Attentive to internal and external stakeholders.Strong analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Great attention to detail.
