Procurement Engineer (Construction)

We are looking for a experienced Procurement Engineer to join our clients construction team in Dubai. Location : Dubai, UAEEmployment Type : Full-timeSalary : AED 8,000 - 10,000 Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.5–7 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in construction projects.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP or similar is an advantage).Good understanding of construction materials, technical specifications, and market trends.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full procurement cycle for construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.Identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors, obtain quotations, and conduct commercial and technical evaluations.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and timely project execution.Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.Coordinate closely with the project, engineering, and accounts teams to align procurement activities with project timelines.Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.Monitor and expedite material deliveries, ensuring alignment with project schedules.Evaluate supplier performance and maintain effective vendor relationships.Support project teams in handling procurement-related documentation and correspondence.
