Since 2009, we’ve been helping families and businesses across Australia make the switch to renewable energy.As we continue to grow across Australia, we’re looking for a sharp, organised, and proactive Procurement & Inventory Officer to support our operations and ensure our installation teams have the right materials, in the right place, at the right time.This is a key role that directly supports our project delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities & tasks: Procurement & Supplier ManagementIssue and manage purchase orders for solar, battery, and electrical materialsObtain supplier quotes, compare pricing, and secure competitive termsMaintain strong relationships with national and local suppliersForecast and plan material availability based on project pipeline and sales demandInventory & Warehouse CoordinationMaintain accurate stock levels across multiple warehouses and job sitesCoordinate inbound deliveries, receipting, and stock movementsPrevent stock shortages and reduce excess inventoryCarry out cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliationLogistics & Scheduling SupportOrganise freight, shipping, and timely delivery to installation teams if neeEnsure materials are available for scheduled installs across AustraliaWork closely with Operations, Sales, and the Install Manager to forecast demandSystems & ReportingMaintain procurement and inventory data in internal systemsProvide weekly stock and procurement reportsIdentify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and reduce costsQualifications: Graduate of a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logitics, business adminstration, engineering or a relate field Highly organised with exceptional attention to detailConfident communicating with suppliers and internal teamsExperienced in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or inventory coordinationComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesCompetent using ERP/inventory systems and ExcelA problem solver who takes initiative and keeps operations running smoothlyExperience in solar, electrical, construction, or related industries is a strong advantage. To apply, send your CV and cover letter to hr@venergysolar.com.au with the subject line Procurement & Inventory Officer Application – [Your Name].
