Procurement & Supplier Manager- Edinburgh- £50-60k- HybridAre you a procurement or supplier management professional looking to shape and grow a new function from the ground up? Our client is expanding their Procurement & Supplier Oversight team, and are looking for an experienced specialist to help build a best-in-class approach to sourcing, onboarding and managing our key supplier relationships.This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing function where you’ll make a visible impact, improving efficiency, driving cost savings, strengthening governance, and ensuring good outcomes for their clients.What you’ll be doingAs a Procurement & Supplier Manager, you will:Lead commercial negotiations and secure strong commercial outcomes for the business.Support the full sourcing lifecycle, from supplier identification through to onboarding.Manage supplier-related issues with confidence—ensuring clear communication, swift resolution, and effective follow-through.Oversee supplier activity across the wider business where suppliers are not centrally managed.Administer contracts via Agiloft and manage supplier risk assessments (TPRM).Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Help embed a third-party risk management (TPRM) framework across the organisation.What we’re looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you have:Experience in procurement or supplier management within a regulated environment.A strong track record of successful commercial negotiation.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, solutions-focused approach to issue management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.A risk-focused mindset when working with suppliers.The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.Knowledge of regulatory expectations and due diligence processes (desirable).We’re looking for someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, picking things up quickly, and finding effective solutions, even when the way forward isn’t immediately clear.Interested?If you’re excited by the idea of helping build a growing procurement function, and want to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.
