📐 About This RoleWe are looking for a Product analyst to shape our product analytics initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our EPD team to develop analytical rigor, establish key metrics, and provide recommendations for product improvements. You will leverage your expertise in FullStory (our primary product analytics tool) to uncover user behaviors, identify friction points, and drive actionable insights that shape our product roadmap.As an early and foundational member of the data team, you will do more than just analyze data—you will build the future of it at WRITER. This means defining our core metrics layer, consolidating data into a single source of truth, and establishing the analytical rigor that will guide our product and engineering teams.This is a role where you will navigate the full data lifecycle—from data modeling and dashboarding to deep-dive analysis and stakeholder management. If you are passionate about finding the "so what" behind the numbers and bringing your insights to life, we want to hear from you!Tech stackCore tools: FullStory, BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Hightouch, Segment, Amplitude, OmniPeriphery tools: Salesforce, Hubspot, Gong🦸🏻‍♀️ Your ResponsibilitiesData analysis: collect, clean, and analyze data to extract meaningful insights, and identify trends and patterns to inform business decisions. Design and analyze A/B tests.Data modeling: design and build new ELT-based data models using SQL and dbt, implementing efficient testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.Reporting: create dashboards and visualizations that will lead to better business outcomes, product development prioritization and higher operational efficiencies.Collaboration: partner with Product, Marketing, GTM and other cross-functional teams to standardize and report on key metrics, while supporting each team with their ad-hoc reporting needs.Data enablement & leadership: champion data best practices across the company. Drive the vision for self-service analytics by developing resources, building trusted data models, and establishing the standards that will empower the entire team to make better decisions.⭐️ What We’re Looking ForAn experienced and curious data professional: you have 5+ years of hands-on experience in product analytics in a SaaS environment. Your intellectual curiosity constantly pushes you to search for the context and insight behind the numbers.A master of the modern data stack: you have advanced SQL and dbt skills and are proficient with product analytics tools (like Amplitude/Mixpanel) and data visualization tools (like Tableau/Looker).A builder who thrives in ambiguity: you excel in a fast-paced environment and see a "dirt path" as an opportunity to create a paved road. You are intrinsically motivated and set the highest possible bar for what you build.A trusted partner and communicator: you can distill complex information into easily consumable reports and insights.
