Product Director (Payroll)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a (Deputy) Product Director to lead the strategic development of payroll products across priority regional markets. The role partners closely with technology, commercial, and operational stakeholders to ensure payroll capabilities meet regulatory requirements while delivering outstanding client experience and scalable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the strategic direction and roadmap for payroll solutions in key strategic markets, aligned with long-term business objectives.Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to ensure effective execution of the product roadmap, balancing compliance, market demands, and scalable architecture.Establish structured mechanisms to collect and client feedback, transforming insights into continuous product enhancements.Collaborate with regional commercial teams to shape product positioning, launch strategies, and adoption plans that accelerate revenue growth.Monitor payroll trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage and product relevance.Act as a strategic point of alignment across product, technology, operations, and commercial functions to drive unified execution.Identify opportunities to expand product coverage, integrations, and functionality to support long-term growth across APAC and global markets.RequirementsExperience: 10+ years in product management, including 3–5 years leading payroll, HRMS, or enterprise SaaS product functions.Payroll Expertise: Strong understanding of payroll operations, compliance frameworks, and regional variations across APAC and other key markets.Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive complex, multi-functional initiatives.
