Product Manager

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Product Manager to join our team!Reporting to the Head of Product, you will help deliver on trend, technical product, and ranges for the target customer by designing and developing products with a commercially focused mindset. Your activewear experience will help shape product direction and strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Product DevelopmentConduct global and local market research across trends, fabrics, fit and silhouetteOwn competitor analysis and trends for categoriesOwn the product lifecycle: concept, sketching designs including technical sketches, fit and executionCollaborate closely with product team to shape cohesive on brand ranges in accordance with budgets, trends, and market researchAssist head of product with trend presentations and seasonal conceptsPartner with production team to manage all phases of the product Lifecyle- sign off and approve all submissions and fitsCategory ManagementWork with planning team to develop and execute category strategyLead product benchmarking, pricing strategy, and competitor analysisSpot Trends and analyse sales data and market trendsDrive the performance of product categories with weekly best sellers and trade analysisThe Ideal CandidateMinimum 5 years activewear design experience a must A proven track record of commercial success, having worked for Domestic or International fashion brand or retailerStrong creative eye with a passion for product and expert knowledge of emerging and current fashion trendsSkills: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and creative suite, expert in 2D digital sketching and technical sketches, product development and strong activewear technical understandingTeam Player: You love collaborating and making things happenTrend Spotter and has an eye for what the market is asking forPassion for product and eager to grow within businessMust have ability to work in Australia as a citizen or permanent residentPerks50% team discount on Rockwear and RAG brandsWork for a business that supports a healthy work/life balanceReceive ongoing training and developmentJoin a creative, fun, and active team cultureBe part of the Australian powerhouse Retail Apparel Group including brands yd., Connor, Tarocash, Johnny Bigg and AXL+COAs this role requires sketching and product development, please submit a portfolio with your application.
