They have the only app globally where a golfer can access every single aspect of the game in one place – rounds, handicap, community, events, equipment, apparel, lessons, simulators, driving ranges and more.Role OverviewWe are seeking a driven and passionate Product Manager (3-5+ years’ experience) with a passion for building consumer-facing mobile applications and thriving in a fast-paced, startup / scale up environment. You will own the product roadmap for their community-led platform, working closely with the internal tech team and reporting directly to the Head of Product. Your focus will be on developing features that foster engagement, support regional localisation across Australia and in the USA, and create a best-in-class digital experience for Future Golf Members.Key Responsibilities`Own and drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements gathering, and roadmap development. Design and deliver community-driven features that enhance member engagement, drawing inspiration from leading sports community platforms (e.g., Strava, Peloton, Freeletics etc)Lead the localisation of product experiences for different regions (e.g., tailoring features for Australian states and the US market) Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of new features, using a tech stack that includes React Native, TypeScript, MySQL and AWS Analyse product usage data and feedback to inform iterative improvements and validate product decisions Champion a user-centric approach, continuously seeking ways to improve the member experience and deliver measurable business outcomesManage and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and stakeholder expectationsFoster a collaborative, startup-minded culture and contribute to building Future Golf’s internal product and technology capabilitiesSupport the transition from contractor / external vender based development to a more traditional, in-house delivery teamRequired Skills & Qualifications3–5+ years’ experience in product management, with a focus on consumer-facing mobile applications Proven success designing and launching community engagement features for digital platforms, ideally in sports, fitness, or social networking (e.g., Strava, similar apps) Strong understanding of regional localisation requirements and experience adapting products for the unique needs of users in multiple markets Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially engineering (React Native, TypeScript, NodeJS / ExpressJS, NoSql AWS) Startup or scale-up mentality: hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills Willingness to work from the Sandhurst office 2–3 days per week, with flexible arrangements available (50/50 over all) Preferred Skills & ExperienceExperience working on Mobile App first / Consumer / SaaS productsExperience in the sports, fitness, community first or golf technology sectors.Prior involvement in building or scaling community-led products.Familiarity with UX/CX best practices and iterative product developmentWhy Join Future Golf?Be part of an innovative team revolutionising the golf experience in Australia.Shape the future of a rapidly scaling digital community.Access to state-of-the-art golf facilities and a passionate member base.Opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Competitive salary and benefits, with potential for equity or performance incentivesIf you’re passionate about building community-driven digital products and want to help shape the future of golf, we want to hear from you.
