Join us in fueling our mission to protect dreams and restore lives, while building your career in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.Be part of a team that makes a real difference.Job DescriptionAI Product Owner - Generative AI Medical SolutionsWe are seeking an experienced Product Owner to spearhead the development and delivery of cutting-edge AI-driven applications that leverage prompt engineering, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI technologies to analyze, summarize, and extract actionable insights from medical claims, medical billing data, and healthcare documentation.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the voice of the customer to the development team, translating business needs into technical requirementsCollaborate with product management to define and prioritize the team's roadmap in alignment with program visionManage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, actionable, and prioritized for maximum value deliveryWork cross-functionally with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver innovative solutionsDefine acceptance criteria and validate that delivered features meet customer needs and quality standardsManage in product prompt engineering as needed to support new customers and use casesWhat You'll Need:Proven experience in product ownership or management of AI/ML products, preferably in healthcare or related fieldsStrong understanding of generative AI technologies, LLMs, and prompt engineering techniquesExperience with Agile development methodologies and toolsExcellent communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholdersAbility to quickly develop domain expertise in medical claims processing and healthcare documentationWhat Sets You Apart:Experience with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, or medical claims processingBackground in implementing AI solutions that handle sensitive or regulated informationTrack record of successful AI product launches from concept to marketThis role offers the opportunity to shape next-generation AI applications that will transform how medical claims and healthcare documentation are processed, ultimately improving efficiency and outcomes in the healthcare ecosystem.Qualifications3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally for B2B SaaS or healthcare/insurance technology productsExperience developing or delivering AI/ML-driven products — specifically with generative AI, LLMs, or NLP-based systemsFamiliarity with healthcare claims data formats (837, UB-04, HCFA 1500), medical records, and EHR dataUnderstanding of medical claims workflows — payer side or third-party admin (TPA) sideHands-on experience collaborating with AI/ML teams, including prompt engineering and model evaluationAbility to bridge the gap between technical teams (AI/ML, engineering) and business users (claims reviewers, adjusters, medical directors)Bonus Skills:Familiarity with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, HuggingFace, or similar LLM environmentsExperience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems or knowledge graph integrationBackground in healthcare compliance, medical coding, or medical reviewPast experience working in property & casualty insurance, workers comp, or disability claims technologyBenefitsWe’re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self.
