Job TitleProduct OwnerJob DescriptionProduct OwnerBecome part of the Philips Post Market Surveillance (PMS) organization and work with a team of highly skilled people that develop, implement and manages PMS processes and automated systems (non-product system software) globally throughout Philips Healthcare.We are currently looking for a Product Owner - a pivotal role for our business as our products (processes and associated software applications) support the internal Philips post market surveillance operations (Post Market Surveillance, Risk Management, Corrections & Removals, and Complaint Handling) enabling and supporting the business and markets in developing high quality products and services through post distribution product insights.The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential features and functionalities to meet customer needs and enhance product value. The role contributes to defining, prioritizing, and documenting software use cases and requirements, as well as managing the application enhancement and changing backlog. The role works closely with IT partners and project managers to establish clear program objectives, sprint planning, and project milestones. The role contributes to defining and reviewing the program vision, roadmap, and content presentations to ensure consistency with strategic objectives and market requirements. The role engages in crucial planning activities such as release planning, program backlog refinement, and iteration planning, driving progress towards program goals. The role handles the management of stories and backlog for a single moderate complexity product/module. The role suggests improvements to existing workflows, demonstrating good understanding of user/ product requirements in the areas of responsibility and mentors team members, motivating and unifying team.Your RoleActs as the primary interface between the customer and the IT development team, handling the management of software user stories and backlog for a single product/module characterized by moderate complexity, delivered by multiple scrum teams.Coordinates with stakeholders across various functions within the same business unit, ensuring alignment of priorities and expectations to drive successful outcomes and meet customer needs effectively.Maintains focus on a single, complex system/module, directing the delivery of new features or enhancements within an existing framework, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.Facilitates iteration planning at the team level, orchestrating efforts to prioritize tasks and allocate resources optimally, fostering collaboration and synergy among team members.Defines clear program increment objectives for the team, establishing measurable goals and milestones to guide development efforts, track progress, and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives.Contributes to defining and reviewing the program vision, roadmap, and content presentations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and market demands.Participates in critical sprint planning activities, including release planning, program backlog refinement, and iteration planning, to drive the achievement of program goals.Contributes efforts in defining iterations and user stories, managing dependencies, and maintaining a cohesive flow of work to support continuous value delivery.Cultivates effective relationships with internal/external partners and provides influence over projects and peer groups, demonstrating full understanding of area of specialization.Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Participates in ensuring the validation of the system with the Business Process OwnerYou're The Right Fit IfBachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.5+ years of experience in a software business as a product owner, product manager, developer, and/or (solutions) architectProduct Owner experience in an Agile environment (sprint planning, backlog prioritization, project management), with Scrum Master experience and strong technical competenceOutstanding stakeholder management, communication, presentation and influencing skillsExperience in Post-Market Surveillance (PMS) processes and tools would be an added advantagePreferred Skills Agile Methodology Data Analysis & Interpretation Continuous Improvement Strategic Planning Project Management Stakeholder Management Requirements Management Product Development Lifecycle Management User Stories CreationHow We Work TogetherWe believe that we are better together than apart.
