Job Description
The Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for the design, implement and support of all Network solution engagements in Asia. They will act as the primary interface into the Sales and Product organisations, and will work closely with key customers to understand their overarching needs. They will collaborate closely with the other Professional Services and O&E functions to create the right solution to meet the customer’s requirements, with a focus on cost, quality and governance of critical timelines.Role ResponsibilitiesInterpret Customer needs, assessing the full requirements, identifying solutions to standard and non-standard requirementsCollaborate with clients to understand their business objectives. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.Represent as SME and work on the requirements coming through RFPs along with sales and customers.Deliver complete technology solutions and provide post-installation technical supportUtilize expertise to provide adequate technical support to customer post implementation of the solution with solution engineer, Tier 1/2 teams and relevant internal teams.Develop and maintain network documentation.Work with various network technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and cloud platforms.Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of non-standard technical solutions.In pre-sales, developing customized technical solutions that address client needs effectively.Creating comprehensive solution designs, including architecture, specifications, and technical documentation.Ensuring that designs align with industry standards and security best practices.Leading technical customer workshops either in pre-sales or post-sales.Managing customer acceptance for non-standard components of the solution.Skills and Experiences10+ years’ experience in IP network design and OperationsCCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)Solid understanding of the TCP/IP modelProven hands-on network engineering experienceExcellent communication skills and negotiation skillsFluent in Japanese language at both writing and speaking, with a strong understanding of local cultureBusiness level English at a level to be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholdersOther PreferencesUniversity degree in Computer Science or a related subjectA robust, dynamic self-starter with imagination and visionWilling to be flexible to get the work done and able to prioritize and plan time effectivelyAble to communicate clearly and concisely, including the ability to deliver difficult messages in a positive way,Have strong interpersonal skills and able to build a positive team culture in a global team and cross-cultural environment as well as a customer focused culture,Have commercial acumenResults-focused, efficient, and pragmaticAble to support a strategic vision and think globally with a strong sense for entrepreneurshipAble and willing to travel when requiredWhat We Offer YouLooking to make a mark?At Colt, you’ll make a difference.
