Role Summary:The BU PMO Lead for Converge Ventures Group is responsible for overseeing project governance, portfolio performance, and delivery excellence within the business unit. The role ensures alignment with enterprise PMO (ePMO) standards, drives consistent project management practices, and enables the successful execution of strategic initiatives that support the BU’s growth and transformation goals.Responsibilities:Project Governance, Compliance & Audit Readiness• Build and set-up new ventures processes and anchor into the main org. • Build accelerator and MVP execution processes governance reporting systems and integrate with main org. • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure Converge Venture projects comply with ePMO policies, processes, and controls.• Oversee project documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and readiness for audit or management review.• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely provision of evidence and corrective actions.Risk Management (BU & Project-Level)• Identify, assess, and maintain a consolidated Converge Venture-level risk register covering all key projects.• Partner with Project Managers to ensure robust risk mitigation and contingency plans are in place.• Monitor emerging risks and escalate high-impact items to the ePMO and Converge Venture Leadership Team.• Facilitate regular Converge Venture risk review sessions and track mitigation progress.Change Management (BU & Project-Level)• Support the planning and implementation of change management initiatives across Converge Venture projects.• Coordinate with P&C, Communications, and Business Leads to ensure stakeholder alignment and change adoption.• Develop and track change readiness and impact assessments for critical initiatives.• Embed a culture of proactive change management within Converge Venture project delivery teams.Process & Methodology• Implement and tailor ePMO delivery frameworks and methodologies to fit Converge Ventures’ operating context.• Provide hands-on guidance and training to project teams on PM standards, tools, and processes.• Monitor process adherence and drive continuous improvement within Converge Venture delivery practices.• Standardize documentation, reporting, and delivery approaches across initiatives.Center of Excellence (CoE)• Partner with the ePMO and CoE to strengthen Converge Venture project management maturity and capabilities.• Gather and relay BU-specific feedback to enhance tools, templates, methodologies, and training content.• Support knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring, and PM capability development within the Converge VenturePortfolio Planning & Prioritization• Lead Converge Venture-level portfolio planning and intake processes, ensuring initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives and available capacity.• Facilitate prioritization sessions with Converge Venture leadership, balancing business value, resource availability, and risk exposure.• Maintain an up-to-date Converge Venture portfolio register, ensuring visibility into pipeline and active projects.• Provide portfolio insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.Program & Project Monitoring• Oversee the delivery performance of Converge Venture programs and projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and in-scope execution.• Review project health status and collaborate with PMs to resolve delivery challenges.• Conduct periodic Converge Venture project review meetings and escalate key issues to leadership as necessary.• Ensure early identification of delays and implement recovery plans to keep initiatives on trackFinancial Tracking (BU & Project-Level)• Monitor Converge Venture project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against approved baselines.• Ensure financial discipline through variance analysis, cost tracking, and benefit realization monitoring.• Collaborate with Finance and ePMO to maintain accuracy and transparency in project financial reporting.• Support budget planning cycles and funding requests for strategic initiatives.Resource Management (BU & Project-Level)• Oversee Converge Venture resource capacity and demand management to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.• Maintain Converge Venture resource plans and coordinate with HR and Functional Leads for staffing needs.• Track resource performance, workloads, and availability across all active initiatives.• Support workforce planning and skill development initiatives aligned with future portfolio demand.Reporting, Dashboards, Performance & Monitoring• Develop and maintain Converge Venture dashboards and reports for both BU leadership and ePMO review.• Track and analyze delivery performance, portfolio health, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve delivery outcomes and decision-making.PM Circle Engagement• Represent Converge Ventures Group in ePMO PM Circles and cross-functional PMO forums.• Share Converge Venture experiences, best practices, and lessons learned to promote organizational learning.• Collaborate with peers across business units to align methodologies and improve PMO integration.• Contribute to enterprise-wide PMO initiatives and capability-building programs.Qualifications:Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (required)• 8–10+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles• 3+ years managing a PMO or large project portfolio within a business unit• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing BU leadershipTechnical & Professional Skills• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)• Hands-on experience with resource and capacity planning• Able to create dashboards, track metrics, and report on delivery performance• Familiar with financial tracking, forecasting, and budget adherencePreferred but Not Required• P3O (Portfolio, Program & Project Offices)• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist)• Lean Six Sigma (nice to have)• ITIL Foundation (optional)• Training in business analysis or change management (beneficial)
