ROLE SUMMARYThe role of Program Manager is a professional who coordinates projects across our organization. The role ensures everything runs smoothly and follows program goals while maintaining a high level of detail for each project they oversee throughout their workday. Identify and escalate risks and issues for decision where needed and keep the key stakeholders updated on the program progress. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYOrganize programs and activities in alignment with the mission and goals of the organization.Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.Communicate program risks, performance, and related decisions across the organization.Develop program resource requirements and support Project Managers in securing necessary resources.Write program funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery, particularly when additional resources are needed.Manage a diverse program team, leveraging various talents and responsibilities.Develop and monitor budgets and operating plans for each program based on related project budgets.Formulate, organize, and monitor interconnected projects to achieve strategic goalsDecide on appropriate program strategies and objectives to guide program direction.Coordinate cross-project activities to ensure smooth collaboration and progress.Lead and evaluate project managers and staff, holding them accountable for performance and results.Develop and control deadlines, integrated schedules, and activities to meet program milestones.Apply change, risk, and resource management to keep programs on track and resolve issues proactively.Assess program performance continuously to maximize return on investment (ROI) and efficiency.Resolve higher scope issues to ensure alignment with program objectives.Organize and manage program steering committees for active programs or agreed clusters of programs.Prepare detailed reports for program steering committees and executives, providing insights on program progress.Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are met.Meet with stakeholders to maintain transparent communication regarding project issues and service decisions.Develop accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.Demonstrate strong soft skills and executive presence to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across the organization.Analyze program data, develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support the program team and PMO.Translate program data into actionable insights for senior leadership, highlighting risks related to time and cost and recommending actions to support successful delivery.QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.A minimum 7 Year Experience.Proven experience in program management.Proven stakeholder management skills.Proven experience managing a team.Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Understanding of project managementSKILLSStrong problem solving and analytical skillsProficient in Excel and Power PointCompetency in Office 365 and scheduling softwareSolid interpersonal skillsAbility to interface with Executive leadership
