Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:Establish document control procedures for the classification and filing of documents, including implementing a system for quick and easy retrieval of multiple documents.Be the contact person for all documents pertaining to the project, including receiving, tracking and monitoring documentation.Input drawing information for reports and logging database.Generate document control reportsCheck the accuracy of transmittalsKeep the document control systems up to dateRespond to internal, external, and Ad-hoc documentation requestsControl the accessibility of the project’s documents, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the documents.Track the progress of the project documentationProcess engineering/ procurement / vendor documentsOther ad-hoc assignments by reporting superior. Requirements:Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar roleBasic understanding of engineering, procurement, contract, construction and commissioning documentationProficient in Project management systemsData organization skills
