Job PostProject DesignerApply »Company: ODG InteriorsDuration: Full-timeDate Posted: 10/08/25CategoryLocation: Culver CitySalary: 50-100kJob DescriptionOHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS, a world class high-end design firm, seeks an efficient, detail oriented, diligent Project Designer with 4-7 years of design firm experience to work alongside our Project Managers and Junior Designers on luxury residential interior design projects at our Culver City office.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of client presentations (Formatting, organizing, and printing)Space planning and layout development, based on clear directive provided by Project Manager(s) and PrincipalWork alongside Project Manager(s) of custom products including measurements, hardware, finish, type of wood, etc.Price all sourced products accurately and maintain up-to-date pricing documentationSupport in budget implementation based on directive from Project Managers(s)Review of all orders to ensure accuracyLight source of new products and materials including furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, and paint colors, based on clear directive provided by Project Manager(s) and PrincipalFollowing up with vendors on orders and lead timesCollaborate with the expediter to ensure timely and accurate vendor deliveriesLead in CFAs and RMAsSupport in comprehensive project schedulesCoordinate and manage various tasks alongside Project Manager(s)Participate in site visits and in person client meetings, dependent on the site location and project structureBe available and responsive across time zones to handle any installation issues or urgent needsManage and motivate design assistants and interns, promoting collaboration and professional growthDemonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive approachSupport in warehouse and merchandising coordination to ensure smooth logistics and timely installationsClient Installation preparationWilling to travel (domestic)Job RequirementsEducationWhat We’re Looking For:4-year degree or equivalent experienceExperience4-7 years' experience in interior designResidential design and space planning expertiseTechnical SkillsProficient in AutoCAD (required)Familiar with Studio Designer (or similar) and Microsoft OfficeDesign SkillsAbility to sketch and space planning abilitiesCommunicationExcellent verbal, written, and negotiation skillsProfessional in addressing inquiries and concernsOrganizationManages multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail in orders and documentationProblem-SolvingResourceful with strong troubleshooting skillsWork StyleIndependent yet team-orientedProactive and initiative-drivenClient FocusCommitted to delivering luxury experiencesWork ScheduleThis is a hybrid position in our LA office. The role requires working on-site 4-days per week and allows for 1 remote workday each week.
