We cater to the higher end interior designers who expect the highestquality work and management of their clients expectations. Very much a family type office environment I am looking for a high energy very organized person who also believes that work should be fun. The job involves procurement, scheduling and follow through to the projects final reveal.Job RequirementsThe Project Managers job really begins once we receive the purchase order and deposit from the designer. That's when the fun starts. All vendor quotes are then turned into orders....workorders for the seamstresses and upholstery are written and the installation of the job is scheduled. Generally there are as many as 10 -15 projects in developement. The job is primarily to track orders for hardware, shades, fabrics etc. to ensure that things are on track for the scheduled installation. You also work very closely with the various designers to make sure that all fabrics and trims expected for an order are in place. Often ther are photo shoots scheduled and we need to be prepared for that as well.We are very much part of the Interior Designers team. You need to be organized and focused. We have a great system in place that makes this pretty foolproof. A knowledge of Design Manager Software is helpful but not necessary to begin. It is the software program that we use which also helps with managing the project....About Our CompanyWebsitePilchard Designs, Inc.ContactSusan PilchardOwnerApply »
