Project Engineer

The opportunityProject Engineer with support to project team is responsible for the successful execution/delivery of assigned projects on time, with budget with on quality & safety framework of Hitachi Energy.How You’ll Make An ImpactEnsure to Comply with HSE requirement and Hitachi working values. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects.Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements.Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly.Cooperate and communicate effectively with Head of Projects/Operation Manager and other project participants to provide and project updates.Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate with SCM, and FSM to assign the resources requirements. Ensure to deliver the project as per company KPI and assigned to him. Support the FSE and project team to deliver the service on time and on budget. Support for site activities and provide appropriate corrective actions for onsite issues.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Strong interpersonal communication, team working skills combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in High Voltage Electrical Substations and projects managing.Able to establish good relationships with the customers.PMP certificate, L6S certificate will be a plus.Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
