WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week.Position SummaryThe Project Management – BAL Production plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across all BAL production initiatives. This role is responsible for managing timelines, coordinating across departments, and ensuring structured execution of production-related deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.Major ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Timeline ManagementDevelop and maintain master production timelines for all BAL events and initiatives.Ensure all departments (Broadcast, Events, Marketing, Partnerships, Basketball Operations, etc.) are aligned with key milestones and deliverables.Track progress against timelines and proactively flag risks or delays.Cross Departmental CollaborationFacilitate weekly production syncs and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.Serve as the central liaison between internal teams and external vendors for production-related planning.Translate strategic goals into actionable plans across departments.Operational & Process ManagementImplement and enforce standardized workflows, documentation, and reporting structures.Maintain detailed project trackers, dashboards, and status reports for internal visibility.Support the development and refinement of production SOPs and playbooks.Reporting & CommunicationPrepare regular updates for senior leadership on production status, risks, and mitigation plans.Ensure clear and consistent communication between all stakeholders.Document lessons learned and contributed to continuous improvement efforts.Resource & Budget CoordinationSupport budget tracking and resource allocation across production projects.Coordinate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure timely contracts and payments.Required Skills/KnowledgeStrong organizational and communication skills; ability to synthesize information and drive decisions.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com).Fluent in English and French; other languages a plus.Passion for African sports and live event production.Ability to foster collaboration and accountability across diverse teams.Calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure.Experience Needed3 to 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or production coordination, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media.Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with precision and clarity.Educational Background RequiredPMP or similar certification is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Salary RangeXOF 37,000,000 - 45,000,000Job Posting TitleProjectThe NBA does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or any other third parties.
