Project Manager

Position: Project ManagerLocation: Mississauga, ONDuration: 6 Months contract with possible extension Industry: Supply Chain / Retail / LogisticsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in SAP ERP and Warehouse Management (WM) to lead end-to-end project delivery within a dynamic supply chain environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of logistics operations and proven experience managing technology implementation projects, preferably in an omnichannel retail setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of project management: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closure.Define project tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using project management tools.Oversee the triple constraint of time, scope, and cost to ensure successful delivery.Identify, assemble, and coordinate cross-functional project resources.Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.Facilitate key meetings, workshops, testing sessions, and post go-live support activities.Prepare and present project status updates, reports, and communications, including executive steering committee updates.Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to project team members to close performance gaps.Engage with internal and external stakeholders at the Director and VP levels to ensure alignment and accountability.Maintain strong customer focus, ensuring all project deliverables meet quality and business objectives.QualificationsExperience:10+ years of overall professional experience, with 5–8 years in project management for system implementations.2–3 years of experience in implementing technology solutions in Supply Chain, particularly in Warehouse Management (SAP WM, Manhattan, or JDA), Transportation, or Replenishment systems.Experience in Omnichannel Retail environments preferred.Technical & Functional Skills:Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.Proficiency with SAP ERP and Warehouse Management (WM).Proficient in MS Project and other project management tools.PMP certification (preferred) or actively working toward it.Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong influencing ability.Strong planning, organizational, and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.Capable of working independently and managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.Proven leadership and team collaboration skills.Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Logistics, or an equivalent discipline.
