This will include improved public spaces on the East Island and nearly 16 acres of public space on the West Island made possible by upgrades completed by Therme Canada.  Job Summary    Therme Canada is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Public Relations Coordinator to support the corporate affairs function and assist the marketing and government relations teams. This role is essential in advancing our communications efforts, media engagement, and outreach, as well as supporting government relations and marketing initiatives.  The Public Relations Coordinator will play a vital role in strengthening Therme Canada's brand and partnership engagement by supporting media relations, assisting in the development of partnerships content, and research.  Responsibilities Media relations and communications: Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts, assist in responding to media inquiries, and coordinate outreach for press releases and public statements. Administrative support: Provide logistical support for media interviews, public events, meetings, and presentations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of communications activities. Content development: Draft and edit press materials, news releases, social media content, email and list content and presentations, ensuring alignment with Therme Canada’s voice and messaging. Social media and marketing support: Assist the marketing team in managing social media channels, coordinating content calendars, and supporting digital campaigns to increase engagement and brand visibility. Other public relations duties as needed. ​Essential Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, with proven experience in media relations. Strong knowledge of writing press releases, handling media questions, social media management, and conducting partnership outreach. Proficiency in social media platforms and an understanding of digital marketing strategies. Basic research skills, with the ability to understand and analyze policy topics and industry trends. Political experience is an asset.
