The role involves accurate invoice processing, supplier liaison, reconciliations, and assisting with payments and reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.Responsibilities include:Accurately code, post, and process purchase and manual invoices in line with company policiesManage incoming finance emails, resolving supplier and internal invoice queries promptlyPerform daily and month-end bank reconciliations, including revaluations and petty cash reconciliationPrepare and process supplier payments, payroll deductions, and inter-company allocationsSet up and validate new supplier accounts and bank details within HSBCnetManage group currency transfers, drawdowns, and overnight depositsDownload and reconcile statements and invoices from portals, including HMRC CustomsSupport audits by maintaining accurate records and providing required documentation; assist with ad hoc finance tasks as neededRequirementsExperience we look for:EssentialProven experience in a similar roleGood understanding of purchase ledger processesExcellent attention to detailAbility to prioritise workloadGood organisational skillsMust be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracyProficient in Excel and experienced with ERP/accounting systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levelsStrong team player and ability to collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholdersDesirableExperience in FMCG, food production, manufacturing or retail environmentsMicrosoft Dynamics experienceBenefitsWhat can Westfalia Fruit offer you?Competitive salaryHybrid working23 days holiday, plus bank holidaysState of the art office with fresh fruit, bean-to-cup coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice & avocado ice-creamFree on-site parkingCompany pension scheme with life insurance coverEmployee Assistance Plan with MedicashChristmas hampers & a Christmas partySausage roll Thursday & pizza lunch daysPlease note that this position does not have a specific closing date.
