Job Description
OverviewMonday through Friday 8am to 4:30pmThe Quality Assurance Analyst conducts audits and monitors the accuracy of all information obtained by PFS Registrars on a daily basis. In this role, the individual utilizes analytical skills to produce conclusive reports and effectively communicates findings to leadership staff.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes system generated reporting to acquire a listing of all hospital registrations from the prior day on a daily reoccurring basis.Monitors and audits the accuracy of all information obtained by PFS Registrars on a daily basis. Ensures that all registration documents, photo IDs and insurance cards are being scanned at 95%.Documents all audit information clearly and in a manner that properly supports the audit findings and related conclusions for each individual audited account. Ensures strict confidentiality of patient and financial information.Maintains audit information on the Quality Assurance Tracking Spreadsheet which measures the total number of errors made by Registrars for the month.Makes recommendations for preventive and/or corrective measures in response to patterns and/or significant issues identified during daily audits.Sends email notifications on identified errors to Patient Access Manager and Assistant Director. Provides hardcopy supporting documentation to Patient Access Manager in a timely manner for follow-up and resolution.Submits monthly report to management in regards to the number of hospital registrations for the month, the number of charts audited and the percentage completed along with the number of errors that were identified during the designated timeframe.When called upon, serves as an SME for system conversion related registration issues.QualificationsEducation / TrainingHigh School Diploma/EquivalentPreferencesAssociate’s DegreeExperience Requirements3 to 5 years Quality Assurance/Auditing
