In this role, you'll serve as a key player in ensuring our organization maintains the highest quality standards across all operations. You'll coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities, manage inspection processes, and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. If you're organized, analytical, and passionate about driving continuous improvement through efficient processes and transparent communication, we'd love to hear from you.Coordinate and execute quality assurance and quality control activities, serving as the primary point of contact for QA/QC inquiries and escalationsReceive and acknowledge quality inspection requests within established service level agreements, ensuring all necessary documentation and scope requirements are clearly understoodLoad and manage quality control jobs within designated systems for allocation to appropriate resources or internal executionSource, contact, and confirm availability of qualified QA/QC resources based on location, expertise, and project requirementsPrepare and submit quality control proposals and documentation to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirementsExpedite receipt of quality reports and inspection documentation within customer-defined timelines, typically 24-48 hoursReview all quality reports and inspection findings to ensure customer requirements are met before final submissionImmediately notify relevant stakeholders of any critical non-conformances and ensure urgent findings are communicated promptlyManage billing quantities, rates, and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with agreed customer templatesMaintain comprehensive records and documentation in compliance with established quality procedures and organizational policiesContribute innovative ideas to enhance efficiency through technology adoption and process digitalizationEnsure compliance with organizational quality assurance procedures, health and safety policies, and professional conduct standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and professional work environmentQualifications**Experience**Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection coordinationProven experience in reviewing and summarizing technical quality requirements and contractual specificationsPrevious experience sourcing, assessing, and managing quality control resources and inspectorsDemonstrated understanding of quality processes, vendor management, and inspection methodologiesExperience working with multiple stakeholders across different time zones**Education & Certifications**Must have: Basic management or administration qualificationMust have: Business-grade English language proficiency (C1 level)Desirable: ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Internal Auditor certificationDesirable: Technical qualifications in quality assurance or related disciplines**Skills & Knowledge (Essential)**Highly organized with exceptional ability to prioritize multiple requirements and manage competing deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in engaging with clients and team membersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; intermediate proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvementsAbility to work collaboratively within regional and global team environments, both in-person and virtuallyDigital system proficiency and enthusiasm for driving efficiency improvements through technologyExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously**Skills & Knowledge (Desirable)**Experience with quality management systems and inspection management softwareFamiliarity with recruitment or resource management systemsExposure to SharePoint or similar collaborative platformsKnowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements relevant to your industry**Core Competencies**Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and complianceCollaborative team player who supports colleagues and stakeholdersTransparent communicator who values clear, honest dialogueGoal-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable resultsEfficient and decisive in managing priorities and resolving issuesCustomer-focused approach to service delivery and satisfactionInnovative thinker who embraces continuous improvementAdditional InformationCompensation: $24 to $26 per hour / 40 hours per week.Some Benefit Highlights80% coverage Health, Dental and Vision Enhanced Paid time off benefitsRRSP Program Eligibility SGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression and Indigenous status, or any other characteristics protected by law.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
