Our core values—Unwavering Excellence, Integrity, Dependability, and Care—guide everything we do.About The RoleWe are currently looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to oversee quality processes across incoming goods, in-house production, and finished goods. With core processes and systems already in place, this role focuses on maintaining standards, carrying out inspections, recording data accurately, and ensuring products meet specifications before dispatch.You’ll work closely with production and assembly teams, helping identify any issues early and ensuring products leaving our facility consistently meet BreatheSafe’s quality expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspection and Testing:Perform routine inspections on incoming parts and finished goods.Use measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product quality.Identify and report non-conforming materials or assemblies.Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.Collect and analyze quality control data related to defects, process deviations, and compliance metrics.Quality Control & Monitoring:Monitor and update Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks where required.Assist with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and support corrective action follow-ups.Work with team leaders to ensure standards are consistently applied on the production floor.Documentation & Support:Keep quality records organised and up to date.Support training of team members in quality practices when required.Assist in small, continuous improvement activities—focusing on practical enhancements.Generate visual reports such as graphs, charts, and dashboards to represent QC indicators clearly.Identify trends and patterns in quality performance to support root cause analysis.Qualifications / EducationDegree or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.Additional training or coursework in quality systems or metrology is advantageous (not essential).ExperienceExperience working in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or workshop environment (industry placement, apprenticeship, or early career experience is suitable).Hands-on experience with inspection, measurement, or testing equipment.Experience with supplier quality control and managing non-conformance reports (NCRs)Exposure to ISO 9001 quality management systems or similar frameworks is beneficial.Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection.Comfortable reviewing drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Proficient with common measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings clearly.A practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively on the production floor.Commitment to our values of Unwavering Excellence, Integrity, Dependability, and Care.What We’re OfferingCollaborative Culture: Weekly BBQs, monthly celebrations, and a supportive team environment.Work-Life Balance: Flexible work options and realistic goals.Growth Opportunities: Access to training, study assistance, and career development.Well-Being Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family.Rewards and Benefits: Annual salary reviews, novated leasing options, and more.Join Us!If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a fast-paced, innovative environment, apply now!
