With a reputation built on technical expertise, reliability, and continuous improvement, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company experiencing strong, sustainable growth.About the RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, the Quality Engineer will ensure that all products and processes meet regulatory, customer, and company quality requirements. You’ll take ownership of reporting, root cause analysis, and quality improvement activities, working closely with production and engineering teams to uphold the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, detail-driven, and confident working both independently and collaboratively on the shop floor.Working hours:Monday to Thursday: 07:00–16:00Friday: 07:00–11:30(38.5-hour working week)Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes aligned with AS9100/ISO9001 standardsConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for non-conformancesSupport First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 standardsLiaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive improvementsPrepare and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and quality reportsSupport internal and external audits in line with AS9100 requirementsMonitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvementsParticipate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projectsChampion continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and 8DThe ideal Quality Engineer will have:Proven experience as a Quality Engineer (or similar) within Aerospace, Automotive, or Precision EngineeringStrong understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management SystemsExperience with AS9102 FAI, PPAP, APQP, and NADCAP (desirable)Strong background in RCA, 5-Why, 8D, and FMEA problem-solving techniquesCompetence in quality tools/software (e.g., Minitab, SPC, CMM, ERP/MRP systems)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in the Oil & Gas sector would be highly advantageous but not essentialA practical, collaborative, and adaptable approach to workIf you’re an experienced Quality Engineer seeking an autonomous, rewarding role within a dynamic and expanding manufacturer, please apply today for a confidential discussion.G&P Talent, a division that has been the backbone of G&P Quality Management since its inception, has been pivotal in helping the group to become a leading quality management business, with a proven track record in providing the very best talent.
