VAT Vakuumventile AGAs the Quality Manager Global Account / Key Account in the QMBKA department, you are the single point of contact for a major customer and mainly responsible for all customer related quality topics and requirement as well as for the professional management of the Global Account / Key Account Product Quality Engineers.The Quality Manager works closely together with the Product Management and Key Account Team to fulfill the customer requirements and needs.In addition, the Quality Manager also strives for a zero-defect culture and acts as an interface between all global stakeholders and the customer on quality topics.The definition and tracking of the customer-specific quality objectives and initiatives are just as much a part of the tasks as the regular customer meetings to track the scorecard rating and progress as well as define corrective actions if needed.In addition, the Quality Manger accompanies customer visits and customer audits for the defined customer and strives to meet customer expectations and to increase customer satisfaction / trust to become a preferred and strategic partner.YOUR CHALLENGESProfessional management of the Global Account / Key Account Product Quality EngineersResponsible for qualitative products in the market and supporting customer quality expectations and requirementsResponsible for quality escalations or customer dissatisfaction regarding quality progressStandardization and optimization of product quality processes as well as customer-specific processesDevelop and maintain working relationships with cross-functional departments and customersClose collaboration with all stakeholders and customers worldwide on all customer quality-related topicsManagement and Coordination of the annual Global Account / Key Account quality objectives and initiativesResponsible for the Scorecard Section Quality (definition of quality initiatives, monitoring, material preparation, customer communication)Leading or accompanying customer visits and audits (responsible for the quality topics)Monitoring the customer and VAT Quality KPI’s and definition and tracking of corrective measuresYOUR COMPETENCIESFive years + of experience in quality management and direct customer contactProfound experience of the quality process (mechanism) of high-tech components in a highly consolidated market environment on a global scaleExperience in the Semiconductor Industry and the relevant processes as well as customer requirements (e.g., Copy Exact)Very good knowledge of the VAT products, function and area of applicationTeamwork in international teams and ability to work in a matrix organizationAdvanced knowledge in audit management, project management, complaint management, quality tools, product development and change managementBackground about ISO and IATF norms and standardsBachelor degree or education as Quality Expert / Manager (or similar)Bachelor degree or Apprenticeship in electrical or/and mechanical engineering/profession advantageousGood listening, communication, presentation and moderation skillsQualification / Education as AuditorBasic knowledge of ISO and IATF requirementsGood skills in Escalation and Conflict ManagementIn-depth knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 3-legged 5 why, Fishbone diagram, FMEA, SPC, etc.Ability to hold others accountable as requiredSystematic, methodical and solution-oriented approach to workFluent English and GermanYou can expect a dynamic and successful company where innovation, courage, fairness, openness and transparency are encouraged and your ideas are welcome.
