As a Quality Systems Engineer at Precix, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) that align with industry regulations and best practices. If you are passionate about quality assurance and systems engineering, and you thrive in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and excellence, Precix offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional sealing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the quality management system documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance with the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AC 7115, AS9100 and IATF 16949 requirements and the environmental system to ISO 1400 I requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify the effectiveness of quality systems and processes, and implement corrective actions as necessaryCollaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues, implement process improvements, and ensure adherence to quality standardsFacilitate quality training sessions for employees to promote awareness and understanding of quality systemsCoordinate and manage customer audits and inspections, ensuring all documentation and processes align with customer requirementsAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to management with actionable recommendationsSupport new product development initiatives by ensuring quality considerations are incorporated from the outsetRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; relevant certifications (such as CQE or CQA) are a plusAt least 3 years of experience in quality systems engineering or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)Must have experience with FMEA, GD&T, PPAP and APQPExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detailEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levelsProficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentEmployee Assistance Program - CounselingPaid Time Off
