This includes cost planning, budgeting, tender evaluations, preparation of progress claims, delay analysis and contract administration. Your focus is on delivering value for money while ensuring quality, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to building regulations throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesExecution of head contract and subcontract requirementsContract interpretation and drafting of correspondenceParticipate in tender events and review scope, specifications, drawings, and contract conditionsIdentify commercial, contractual, and technical requirementsPrepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, tender documentation and subcontract packagesEvaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliersPreparation and submission of monthly progress claimsIdentification, pricing, submission, and agreement of variations and variation ordersPricing, submission, and agreement of extension-of-time claimsPerform cost control and budgeting throughout project phasesAssist in contract administration, including payment certificates and related documentsManage project accounts and assist the Project Manager with accurate financial tracking and forecastingCollating information for weekly and monthly project reportsCoordinate and manage project and site documentationMaintain accurate project records and reportingLiaise with clients, consultants, head contractors, subcontractors, and internal teamsAttend project meetings as requiredCollaborate with project and site teams to resolve commercial and contractual issuesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, cost, program, specifications, timelines, and budgetsRequirementsDiploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply - subject to company discretion).Good knowledge of construction materials, cost control, and contract administration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and WordLanguages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are an added advantage.Good communication and negotiation skills.
