Quantity Surveyor – Electrical & InstrumentationStart: ASAPDuration: 12 monthsLocation: ZaandamAre you an experienced E&I professional who knows how to keep industrial projects on schedule, on budget, and fully compliant?In this role, you will manage cost control, materials, invoicing, contracts, and change orders for E&I works within large process-industry environments such as manufacturing, chemical, or refining sites. You’ll work closely with project engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all E&I activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare bills of materials, cost estimates, invoices, and contractual documentation for E&I worksManage change orders and variations, negotiating and agreeing on costs with the clientMonitor progress, site execution, and budget status for multiple work frontsCoordinate subcontractors, tender packages, and contractor reportingValidate completed works and ensure timely payments to vendors and contractorsSupport project controls with accurate cost tracking and reportingRequirementsDiploma or degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related technical field7–10+ years of experience with E&I installations in industrial plants (manufacturing, chemicals, refining, FMCG, utilities, etc.)Strong understanding of contracts, cost management, variations, and procurement processesExperience working on brownfield upgrades, maintenance turnarounds, or CAPEX projects is a plus.Good knowledge of Dutch contract laws and EU project requirementsFluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
