Quantity Surveyor

JOB TITLE: QUANTITY SURVEYORPROJECT TYPE & SCOPE: PMCMNote: Your CV should indicate a list of projects you have worked on (MANDATORY).ABOUT THE ROLE:We are seeking a very qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our PM/CM team for a major high-rise and infrastructure development in Cairo. The successful candidate must have 10+ years of solid professional experience and possess very fluent English & Arabic communication skills.You will play a key role in financial, contractual, and cost-control activities across the full project lifecycle.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, and measurement sheets.Validate contractor’s payment applications and progress quantities.Review variations, cost impacts, and commercial submissions.Maintain cost/quantity logs and support commercial reporting.Coordinate with Contract Manager, design team, and site team for quantity/commercial alignment.Support claim assessments and commercial risk reviews.Core Functional ScopePrepares BOQ, progress claims, and variation assessments.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.Minimum 10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost management.Strong understanding of measurement rules (CESMM, POMI, SMM7).Proficiency in reviewing BOQ, cost breakdowns, and rate build-ups.Experience with Payment Certification and Variation assessment.Fluent in commercial documentation and cost control procedures.MUST be very fluent in English & Arabic, both spoken and writtenPreferred:Experience in mixed-use or large-scale commercial projects.Prior QS role within PM/CM or client-side organizations.Proficiency in Cost/BOQ related software, or similar tools.
