Guided by his legacy and our mission—We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products—we remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create.Representative Responsibilities Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure raw materials compliance. Deliver collaboration with Procurement on raw material non-conformance issues and resolution. Manage cross functional partnership with Sourcing to ensure compliance and education with new programs and suppliers.Analyze and review raw material data and communicate with all suppliers (CMT, Full Package and Internal) to review any failures, defects and non-conformance issues.Manage cross functional partnership with Merchandising and Product Development for non-conformances.Advise the Quality team on all raw material related issues to ensure issues are reported accurately and timely. Work with product development on new high-risk raw materials to review specs and test data to ensure issues are addressed and resolved.Attend seasonal hand-off meetings and follow all post-handoff processes for storage, logging, testing and review of new raw materials.Assist in the Supply Chain procedure review process by providing knowledge as it relates to raw materials. Participate in reviewing current processes, including Sealed Sample, Wash Standard, Shade Band and other procedures, to ensure compliance.Partner with Product Development for the creation of the wash standard. Maintain wash standard storage and logs.Manage the Shade Band process for creation, logging, storage, and renewals Participate in budget planning and tracking, as needed.Share needed tools with Quality auditors and factories to ensure requirements are met.Reviewing auditor/factory finished goods concerns and communicating to the business and partners when requirements are not met.Partner with Quality Issue Resolution Manager to resolve customer and consumer complaints, as they relate to quality issues.Operate testing equipment as needed, to include but not limited to:SpectrophotometerLight Box MicroscopeTape MeasureWeight Punch Pick Glass Gray ScaleOther responsibilities, as assignedRequired EducationBachelor’s degree is preferred, preferably in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management or an apparel textile related discipline. Required Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management or an apparel textile related discipline.Experience in leadership or supervisory role is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize workload. Excellent attention to detail. Good analytical skills.
