React Native development Lead

Job Description:We are looking for a Lead candidate with a strong background in React Native and OTT front-end development. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and scaling cross-platform applications, optimizing performance for streaming platforms, and delivering seamless user experiences. You should be comfortable with UI/UX implementation, API integration, debugging complex issues, and working across the full mobile app development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architecture and development of cross-platform OTT front-end applications for Mobile (iOS/Android), STB, and Smart TVs (Android TV, Tizen, WebOS) using React Native.Build and optimize media and streaming applications, ensuring high-quality video playback, performance, and reliability across platforms.Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, user-centric streaming experiences.Leverage solid JavaScript expertise to build and maintain applications for Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS ecosystems.Define technical standards and best practices, conducting regular code reviews and ensuring consistency across projects.Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs (e.g., analytics, DRM, content delivery, ad tech) into OTT applications.Drive performance optimization across devices, ensuring smooth navigation, responsive UI, and efficient resource usage.Stay current with OTT and Smart TV technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks to enhance platform capabilities.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.6-10 years of professional experience in front-end or mobile application development, with 3+ years leading teams or projects.Proven experience delivering OTT, media, or streaming applications across multiple platforms.Technical SkillsExpert-level proficiency in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.Strong experience building cross-platform apps for iOS, Android, Android TV, Apple TV, STB, and Smart TV platforms (Tizen, WebOS).In-depth understanding of Smart TV ecosystems, including Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS application development.Hands-on experience with media playback frameworks, DRM, and streaming technologies (e.g., HLS, DASH, ExoPlayer, AVPlayer).Familiarity with microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL integrations.Strong grasp of performance optimization, memory management, and device-specific debugging.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and app store deployments.Soft SkillsDemonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities with a collaborative mindset.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
