We're looking for someone with solid experience in public practice accounting and a strong grasp of related systems, who can help us deliver a seamless and welcoming client service experience.The ideal candidate will be confident in client interactions, proactive in problem-solving, and equipped with top-notch administrative skills to support our vibrant team of accountants and business advisors. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making clients feel supported and understood, we'd love to hear from you!Australian work rights are required for this position.You will demonstrate:Experience in a similar role within an accounting practice1-2 years of experience in an accounting practice is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero suite, ASIC, and the ATO PortalFamiliarity with CAS 360, ATOmate and FYI (ideal but not essential)Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing prioritiesA commitment to continuous improvement and professional developmentA proactive and positive contribution to the workplaceConfidence and professionalism in all forms of communicationAvailability to work flexible hours on a fixed day weeklyKey responsibilities:Manage Reception area and phones as first point of contact for clients and visitorsProvide general administrative support and assist with day-to-day office operationsManage both digital and physical documentation with accuracy and careOversee ASIC secretarial services using CAS 360 softwareEnsure timely and efficient correspondence with the ATO and ASICMaintain and update the client database to ensure accuracyShare responsibility for managing incoming client communications, including phone calls and emailsMaintain the mail register and coordinate mail collection as neededSupport client onboarding and offboarding processesManage the electronic signing process for tax packages and other documentationOther administrative duties, as required.Salary negotiable based on experience.
