This role is also accountable to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values and theachievement of the strategic priorities of The Foundation.This position is accountable for ethical practice and the understanding of ethical behaviour and reporting as defined by The Brenda Strafford Foundation’s policy and processAdministrativeKey Resonsibilities:x Operate a multi-line switchboard, answer phone inquiries and route allincoming telephone calls and messagesx Greet visitors, receive routine inquiries in person, make appointments,arrange, conduct and record all tours of the Manorx Maintain reception departmental files and records, includingcorrespondence, forms and routine office records and reportsx Receive incoming mail and coordinate departmental distribution andprocess outgoing mail and courier deliveryx Arrange taxi pick-up and return for residents, visitors or guests whennecessaryx Oversee bookings for meetings and conference roomsx Update Resident lists and directories on a weekly basis and distribute todepartmentsx Word process various forms, documents, lists, reports, records,memoranda, letters or other typing assignments; check and proofreadtyped material for accuracyx Type, proofread and distribute various meeting minutes and agendas;x Complete compulsory education modules as per schedule: within sixmonths of hire date, within 3 months of significant update or revision totraining materials, and annually thereafterx Prepare monthly Activities & Recreation Calendarsx Enter data into Avanti as provided by Educationx Assist with the sale of visitor and staff meal vouchersx Assign and activate parking/door fobsx Perform other duties as may be assigned by the SupervisorSafetyx Maintain adequate standards of safety and cleanliness in the work areax Promote a culture of resident safety and freedom from harm and injuryx Ensure infection prevention and control standards are implemented andmaintainedOrganizational Behaviourx Demonstrate a professional image to residents, visitors, peers and colleaguesx Use a problem-solving approach to make decisions and resolve conflictsx Prioritize workload and meet deadlinesx Promote a Positive Work Environment Byƒ Operating within the Manor’s Code of Conductƒ Respecting Other’s Opinions, Judgements And Abilitiesƒ Respecting cultural diversity in othersƒ Using the proper channels of communicationƒ Managing conflict effectivelyƒ Demonstrating flexibility and reliabilityWhy Join UsAt The Brenda Strafford Foundation, we are more than a workplace—we are a united team.
