Our Vacancy:We are looking for a multi-lingual enthusiastic colleague with at least 1-3 years of professional experience to join the international Recruitment Team at our headquarters in Cologne/Germany. In this position, you will contribute to the work of the Recruitment Team in finding experts and setting up teams for our international development projects. Your main duties in this positionIn this position you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:· As part of project tendering for international development projects and in collaboration with our technical and acquisition departments: Active sourcing of expert staff Liaison with technical departments to determine suitability of applicantsTeam compilation and presentationIn collaboration with our experts, preparation and formatting of CVsAdministrative tasks in support of the full recruitment lifecycle including:Creating and posting job adverts on various channelsScreening of resumes and scheduling of interviews; making initial assessmentsMaintaining and updating candidate database and records Preparing work/employment certificates and other confirmationsAssistance in drafting and managing expert contracts in collaboration with our technical departments using contract templatesRequired expertise / your profile A degree in HR, Business Administration, International Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 1-3 years professional experience – preferably in an international context, ideally in talent acquisitionStrong communication skills, both written and verbal - fluent in English or Spanish or French with very good proficiency in at least one of the other languagesIT-competent (MS 365, MS Teams, social media, professional networks, LINKED-IN…)Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - very good research skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment – practical mindsetUnderstanding of publicly funded international development projects is an assetPrior experience in recruitment is not a must, but transferable skills such as confident communication, active listening, strong networking, critical thinking and good time management are requiredA team player with a positive approach and willingness to learn§ Willingness to work on a permanent basis in Cologne/Germany Our offerYou can expect:A very interesting and challenging position in an international working environment working on international development projects that make a differenceThe opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team allowing you to expand your knowledge of the international cooperation sectorThe chance to work in open-minded, dynamic and multi-cultural teams at our group headquarter in Cologne, liaising with international colleagues at our representations and offices around the worldA competitive remuneration package with 13 monthly salaries per yearFlexible working hoursIf you are interestedWe look forward to receiving your application documents including a motivational statement with information on earliest start date / notice period and gross salary expectations, up-to-date curriculum vitae, copies of professional degree(s) and work certificates.Please submit your application documents (in English) to careers@gic-group.com stating the Job ref. no.: RECR_11_2025Please note that we can only consider applicants with a valid residence and work permit for Germany / European Union who meet the required criteria!
