Reliability Intern

Your JobThe intern will gain hands-on experience in maintenance processes, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply academic knowledge in real-world industrial settings and contribute to the operational reliability of our equipment.Our TeamYou will be the part of Reliability team and reporting directly to Reliability Leader.What You Will DoAssist maintenance engineers and technicians in routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.Support the preventive maintenance program by helping to schedule, document, and track maintenance activities.Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions to improve equipment reliability.Help maintain and update maintenance records, reports, and equipment history logs.Assist in evaluating and recommending improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment performance.Learn and adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering departments.Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or engineer.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Basic understanding of mechanical systems, machine components, and maintenance concepts.Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Eagerness to learn and ability to follow instructions.Commitment to safety and quality.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
