Hey there! 🙂 We're Part Time Language & Culture Center, a Sofia-based English language school, and we're looking for a positive, fluent, remote English teacher for our online lessons and courses for adults (and potentially corporate trainings as well).The job in a nutshell:Initially, our new fellow teacher can start with the following remote evening courses:B1, lessons on Monday and Wednesday 19:00-20:30, starting on November 24B2, lessons on Tuesday and Thursday 19:00-20:30, starting on November 25Additional lessons/courses are likely to be offered soon after.Please, only apply if you meet the criteria for signing a civil contract with a Bulgarian company:You are an EU citizenOR you are a foreigner who has a work permit in BulgariaOR you are a foreigner who has a legal entity in Bulgaria and can issue invoicesBut before we ask anything from you, here's what we can offer:A completely remote part-time job that you could do from anywhere, as long as you have a proper computer with a good camera and microphone and a stable internet connection (must-have!)A stable, but also flexible teaching schedule – weekday/weekend daytime/evening classes, etc., depending on what you can commit to and the current opportunitiesIndividual lessons or compact groups of 2-9 adult studentsA fully online, easy-to-use, contemporary English teaching systemA paid, shared Zoom or Google Meet accountTraining, as well as ongoing teaching assistanceA positive, friendly, no-drama working environmentThe feeling of being part of a team, rather than teaching solo, in isolationGood compensation under a civil contract (or a service contract if you have a business entity and can issue invoices)Now, here's the kind of person we're looking for – and every bit is equally crucial:A highly fluent English speaker who can understand AND explain grammar very well and is able to teach levels up to C1 (Advanced)Someone with great communication skills who can hold people's attentionSomeone who has teaching experience or is coming from a different industry with the clear idea of becoming a teacherA person who's a teacher on the inside – a giver, a leader, a mentor, a motivatorA professional who's self-organized, self-sufficient, strong-minded, willing to work, and resourceful (and is always open for feedback, learning, and self-improvement)A smiley, energetic, charismatic, open-minded individual who loves life and loves what they doSo if you like the vibe you're getting and think we could make a great team, we'd love to see your application! 🙂If you're coming from a different position or industry, please, write a couple of sentences about why you want to change course and become a teacher.
