As a Hands Technician, your day-to-day tasks will include assisting with the physical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server and network equipment. You will also be responsible for performing routine hardware checks, managing cable connections, and addressing technical issues efficiently as they arise. Providing effective communication and reporting on tasks and system updates is a crucial part of this role. Qualifications Technical hardware skills, including experience with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server and networking equipmentAbility to perform cable management efficiently, including labeling and organizing network and power cablesKnowledge of system diagnostics, testing hardware components, and identifying and resolving faultsEffective communication skills to report updates, coordinate with remote teams, and provide routine task documentationFlexibility to adapt to dynamic environments and willingness to work on-call tasks if neededPrevious experience working in a data center or a similar technical role is a plusTechnical certifications or relevant training is an advantage
