Camino Research & Strategy is a boutique market research agency that provides market-leading business intelligence and insights. We’re seeking a motivated research analyst to join our team and grow into a key role in supporting the insights team for one of Australia’s most iconic brands. We believe any time spent learning is time well spent and we support your personal development through a formal and systematic appraisal process.You would receive a competitive starting salary of $55,000 to $60,000 (in addition to super and performance-based bonus of up to 10%), with strong potential for further growth as you develop your skills and contribute to the business.Our team receives these benefits:Flexible hours and working from home (WFH) hybrid. You would be expected to meet in our client’s Port Melbourne office (with the rest of the Camino team) around once a week. Apart from that, so long as the work gets done and the client is happy, we don’t mind where you work. We also have a Camino office available in Melbourne CBD if you prefer working in-person.Access to an annual training fund for any program that you feel would benefit your work.4 weeks annual leave in addition to an office shutdown over the Christmas/New Year break.Competitive base salaries with clear achievable bonus structures set and agreed upon in advance of the year.The ideal candidate will have these personality traits:Brings a positive attitude, works well in a team and autonomously.Open to feedback, while being unafraid to provide your own opinion. Being personable and empathetic is a must. You will be client focused and have what it takes to drive meaningful relationships. Naturally inquisitive, with a critical mind for analysis. A desire to reach the right answer, not just the fastest one.A nose for spotting errors! Strong attention-to-detail and a critical mind to formatting reports.The ideal candidate will have these skills & experience:Bachelor’s degree (or nearing graduation) in an analytical field. E.g., Economics, Psychology, Commerce. An Honours degree is preferred.Strong numerical skills and academic training in statistical concepts.Proficiency in Excel, including using formulas and pivot tables.Competent with PowerPoint, able to make visually engaging reports with an eye for detail and formatting.Experience with statistical software (SPSS, Q, R) is desirable, as is familiarity with questionnaire scripting tools (Qualtrics) or coding languages (Python, R).Don’t meet every requirement?We are strong believers in the development of our staff.
