NEU’s contribution to electrification and circularity has been recognized by the likes of the Temasek Foundation, BloombergNEF, Forbes Asia, and many others.We are expanding our current scale of operations and are seeking a Research & Development Intern to assist in various aspects of wet chemical and electrochemical testing.We are looking for individuals who have the energy and willingness to push the boundaries of technology.If you enjoy hands-on work, and would like to learn from one of the most innovative companies in Singapore, click "Apply" or send your resume to careers@neumaterials.comResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of experimental setups under the guidance of senior researchersPrepare and analyze samples with wet chemical methods and instrumental analysisOperate and maintain analytical instruments, ensuring accurate data recording during experimentsTroubleshoot and address technical issues with equipmentUpkeep and maintenance of laboratory inventory, procurement, and instrument calibrationCollaborate with researchers to collect and analyze data from experimentsKeep records of experimental procedures, data, and observations, and compile results into reportsImplement quality control measures and upkeep of the lab to ensure reliability of experimental dataHave a basic understanding of safety procedures in a lab setting, and adheres to safety (HSE) protocols and participate in safety trainingFundamental research into new methodologies and approachesRequirementsEducational Background: Minimum Diploma holder. Currently pursuing or has a degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Biochemical or Material Sciences and related disciplinesDemonstrated practical experience in a laboratory setting, with a basic understanding of electrochemical methods and analytical chemistry considered a plusStrong desire to learn, coupled with problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skillsProficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork in a dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
