Residential Drafter

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site drafter role located in Wynnum, QLD. The drafter will be tasked with residential drafting plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, and ensuring all design outputs meet client expectations and project goals.QualificationsPrepare 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential projects using REVIT. Assist in developing construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant building codes and council requirements.Update and revise drawings based on feedback from senior staff, designers, engineers, or clients.Maintain drawing files, project records, and documentation in accordance with office standards.Support senior team members with design tasks such as room layouts, material selections, and site plan development.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure drawings align with project timelines and quality standards.Conduct basic site measurements or surveys when required.Stay updated with residential building code changes, drafting standards, and technical requirements.
