*hiring on behalf of our clientTitle: Restaurant Data Entry Specialist Location: Remote Time: Full-Time (Wed-Sun, 10-7pm EST)Compensation: R240,000/yThe CompanyOur client is a guest fulfillment system that works with multiple reservation systems to help a restaurant’s Front Of House team better manage guest requests.The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for manually inputting reservations into various reservation management systems (RMS). Examples include OpenTable, Resy, Sevenrooms and Tock. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating different platforms and ensuring accuracy in all reservation entries.Responsibilities:Manually input bookings into the various RMS systemsEnsure all reservation details are accurate and up-to-date.Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in reservation data.Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to bookings.Assist in updating and maintaining documentation related to reservation processes.Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the Customer Experience team.Requirements Previous experience with RMS’ and restaurant service is highly desirable.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in using computers and navigating different software platforms.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.Nice to haveExperience in the hospitality or service industry.Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
