Apply today and be part of something bigger.This role is based in Mokopane, Limpopo.Job DescriptionJob responsibilities include (but are not limited to):To undertake regular slope monitoring inspections to monitor compliance to the Codes of Practice and Procedures and to identify areas with possible slope instability. Monitors and reports stability of open pit slopes on daily basis.Liaise with the Foreman's, Shift Supervisors and Pit Superintendents on shifts.Monitor Slope instability using slope monitoring instruments in Mogalakwena slope monitoring strategy(i.e. Radars, Piezometers, T4D and Geomos) and report to the Strata Control Officer.Guideline supervision in standards for safety and performance.Participation in the investigation of relevant Rock Engineering related incidents and accidents.Support the Strata Control Officer/Section Rock Mechanics with rock engineering information to compile reports.Gives training to the operations personnel in basic Hazard Identification and risk management.Willing and flexible to work 4/4 roster and 74 work arrangements.
